STRATEGIC IS VENDOR RELATIONSHIP AND COMMERCIAL MANAGER (D5)

Location: Corporate Head Office, Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal
Requirements: Establish and maintain executive relationships with strategic vendors. ? Evaluate external markets for sourcing developments and opportunities. ? Assess current IT Vendor management capabilities in place and identify roles, process, tools and technologies required to manage vendors. ? Ensure effective contracts with all strategic suppliers are in place, including appropriate structure, governance, ownership, etc. ? Develop a roadmap to ensure contracts are maintained in line with Illovo strategic and operational requirements. ? Develop an appropriate understanding of the current Technology environment by engaging Illovo stakeholders and suppliers. ? Participate in and contribute to the development of an IT Operating model, with specific responsibility for Vendor Management. ? Assess the OEM and Service provider environment and ensure the development of IS vendor management best practices across the Illovo businesses. ? Lead the development and implementation of the IT sourcing model (identifying what should be retained and what should be outsourced and how it should be bundled/contracted). ? Lead the sourcing and contracting of non-commodity IT services and technology providers. ? Manage the ongoing evaluation and benchmarking of IS vendors and IS services ? Participate in the development of an Illovo IT Service catalogue. ? Drive business value from technology investments through an analysis of IT Total Cost of Ownership
Description: Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the position of Strategic IS Vendor Relationship and Commercial Manager in the Group Information Technology Team based at the Group Head Office in Ridgeside, Umhlanga. Reporting to the Chief Information and Digitisation Officer (CIDO), the successful incumbent will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a sourcing strategy in support of Illovo’s strategic IT goals.

Category Specialist: Logistics (D2)

Location: Corporate Head Office, Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal
Requirements: Generate cost savings through the development and execution of category strategies Manage the procurement category process from compiling the tender/ enquiry, issuing tender/enquiry,evaluating/adjudicating tenders received, bid clarification, assistance towards negotiating the contract through tofinalizing the contract Assist in the management of ongoing supplier relationship and develop criteria and processes to monitor supplierand internal operational compliance and performance Support internal customer projects for sourcing and purchasing needs Support and drive mill and cross-functional efforts to achieve standardisation, adopt new supplier technologies andreduce purchasing costs Negotiate contracts and approve prices, delivery and payment terms, quality requirements and establish supplierperformance metrics that meet standards and supply objectives Build strong value-adding relationship with suppliers, end users and internal cross functional teams Ensure category is procedurally compliant, meeting , audit and SHERQ requirements Drive utilisation of e-Procurement tools Understand and monitor market trends and new innovation solutions to evaluate feasibility in Illovo operations Implement supplier performance management and development (including BEE development) mechanisms Track key performance improvement indicators
Description: Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the position of Category Specialist in the Group Procurement Department based at the Group Head Office at Ridgeside, Umhlanga. Reporting to the Category Lead: Logistics, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring for the effective management of Logistics related procurement and optimisation activities in line with the business requirements and the Group Logistics Category strategy covering both inbound and outbound requirements.
